I found out a few years ago that I have synesthesia, which is hearing sounds as colors. I had always thought that everyone "heard" colors, but I was told that I was unusual. That part was not a surprise. I've always been pretty unusual.

As I was learning to play my Eurorack setup as a live instrument, I chose to try to express how certain colors sound in my head, and this album demonstrates my first steps in that process. The Eurorack format to me has always been most interesting as a texture and color palette, so these tracks are more sonic explorations and experimental in nature.

All tracks on this album are live, unedited, and recorded in one take with no computer or digital intervention.
